My Review of Easy On Page SEO
It’s no secret that the key to lucrative, organic blog traffic is good SEO. Ask any pro blogger how to drive traffic to a blog and they’ll all say the same thing. Learn SEO from day one! Today I’m focusing on where I really learned SEO, with an honest review of Easy On Page SEO, by Debbie Gartner.
If you are tired of hearing how important SEO is and are ready to learn how it can grow your traffic, Debbie “SEO Guru” Gartner is your gal!
This post contains affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase through one of these links, I may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. All opinions are my own. Read my full disclosure here.
But first, What IS SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It’s the practice of creating content that will bring you traffic based on search engine query results.
SEO is also one of the most powerful ways to acquire organic traffic.
How so? The majority of online experiences start with a search engine! When you need to know or learn something, who do you ask? Google!
Good SEO practices include focusing on user intent and providing it in a way that Google can find it. Neither paid advertising or social media can come close to competing with search engine traffic.
Don’t Put Off Learning SEO
I made the mistake early on in my blogging career thinking I could just learn SEO as I went, reading free blog posts. Big mistake!
Don’t do what I did and just “wing it”. Now that I’ve actually invested in learning effective SEO, I realize how many mistakes I made early on. Those mistakes still cost me traffic to this day!
I watched Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest algorithms change, and saw traffic drop due to these changes. What was once working was becoming less effective.
Other bloggers in Facebook groups were recommending Debbie Gartner’s Easy On Page SEO eBook on a regular basis. The feedback on the book was always very positive.
Finally, I decided my dreams of working from home were dependent on organic, Google traffic and the time to learn SEO was then and there. I invested in Easy On Page SEO and dove in!

My experience with Easy On Page SEO
Easy On-page SEO is described as “an easy to follow approach to learn On-Page SEO so your articles can rank on Google (and other search engines).”
And Debbie’s SEO tips are no joke. Probably why she typically generates more than 500,000 page views per month on her own site!
She explains things in a very straightforward, easy to understand language. This isn’t something you have to read and re-read to fully understand. The only reason to re-read it is to review tips you may have missed the first time. Because there is so much useful info in there!
I read this book in one sitting and was blown away by how much I didn’t know! It was cringe-worthy how many errors I’d made.
When finished, I had a much better understanding of what Google is actually looking for.
I was ready to write new posts with proper SEO techniques in place as well as edit my old posts to help them rank better.
P.S. Debbie really does know her stuff, in more aspects than just SEO. I strongly suggest getting on her email list. She always provides great tips and shares the resources she herself is using. She recently introduced me to The Unsub Secret… and my mind was blown!

In Conclusion
Ultimately, I highly recommend Easy On Page SEO.
This book is for you whether you’ve been blogging a while and THINK you have a handle on basic SEO techniques or if you’re a brand new blogger with zero experience!
It’s so easy to understand and implement the techniques. The price is also very fair for the amount of valuable information provided. Information that could mean the difference between blogging success or continued traffic struggles!
I love Debbie’s simple writing style and that she really strives to teach and empower entrepreneurs to do the work themselves, rather than pay an SEO agency to do it for you.
Since reading Easy On Page SEO, I’ve stopped making silly mistakes I never should have made and I feel much more confident in my blog posts when I hit publish.
My organic traffic has greatly improved (p.s. seeing your own post on the first page of Google search results is invigorating!)
