Who is PotPieGirl?
If you’re brand new to that name, PotPieGirl is a fantastic online marketer named Jennifer Ledbetter. And Pinterest is where she loves to spend most of her time.
She dives DEEP into the inner workings of Pinterest and experiments a lot to find fun and unique strategies no one else has ever thought of.
And she’s brilliant.
But a few years ago, she just disappeared. Stopped sending emails. Stopped showing up in blogging Facebook groups. Everyone was completely puzzled where she went.
THEN, out of the blue just over a month ago, she just started sending out super helpful Pinterest tips. And everyone on her list rejoiced!
All of my blogging related Facebook groups were going crazy with excitement that PotPieGirl was back!
And she’s showed up in our inboxes every day with incredible Pinterest tips. If you’ve been using Pinterest for marketing for a while, some were things many may have already known.
BUT most are really unique and very actionable little Pinterest hacks that make so much sense.
P.S. If you aren’t on her list but want to be, check out this post. It’s a great read and there are links throughout to sign up for her list and start receiving those juicy tips.

The P.I.Q. pinning strategy
Long before PotPieGirl retired, I purchased what was then a brand new training called P.I.Q. Strategy – For bloggers who love traffic from Pinterest and want more of it!
Already sounds great, right? It is. I loved it!
The P.I.Q. Strategy is designed for finding the BEST keywords to use for your Pinterest pins. It helps your pins and posts get more eyes on them, and quickly!
This new way to pin was totally unique to me and if followed correctly, can explode your traffic!
The P.I.Q. strategy is an easy way to help blog posts AND Pinterest pins excel. I promise you’ve never tried anything like it before to grow your Pinterest account.
Results from the P.I.Q. pinning strategy
To be honest, I’d completely forgotten about the PIQ strategy. But since Jennifer’s daily emails keep referencing it, I opened it up again for a refresher and started implementing the steps again.
And since doing so, my Pinterest account is thriving!
Other Pinterest Marketing Methods That Are Working
The results above are also attributed to my all time favourite Pinterest training ever, Pinteresting Strategies by Carly Campbell. And I mostly use Carly’s Pinterest Pin Templates as well (try them for free HERE).
Don’t get me wrong. Pinterest was and is my top traffic source before I started doing the PIQ Strategy again to find amazing keywords. Carly’s strategies are still fantastic when it comes to understanding exactly how Pinterest WORKS.
The P.I.Q. Pinning Strategy definitely gave my pins a nice boost and I’ll be continuing to use it moving forward.
