Using Facebook Groups for Blog Growth
Are you always on the lookout for the best Facebook groups to help grow your blog? Today I’m going to share my list of the most helpful Facebook groups for bloggers. These groups are active, helpful communities for bloggers to learn from and interact with other motivated entrepreneurs, like yourself.
Let’s give your social media marketing a boost!
This post contains affiliate links. This means if you make a purchase through one of these links, I may receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. All opinions are my own. Read my full disclosure here.
If you are trying to grow a blog, online business or social media presence, I can’t tell you how valuable some great Facebook Groups can be.
When you’re starting out it can seem like nothing you do is bringing you the traffic you want.
But by joining the right Facebook groups that offer promo days and insightful tips, you can finally start seeing your blog traffic and social media engagement grow like crazy!
How Can a Facebook Group Grow Your Blog?
Sharing Threads
Most Facebook Groups for bloggers offer daily sharing threads (this is my favorite part of blogging groups).
These threads offer the opportunity to share your social profiles, request new followers, share Pinterest pins, blog posts, request blog comments, etc.
In exchange, you’ll be required to reciprocate those favours for fellow members. You’ll gain new followers, repins, blog traffic, and more. Everyone wins!
Connections
You’ll end up making great connections with other bloggers and influencers in your niche. You may even find some potential clients or people to collaborate with on future projects.
Support
Lastly, most groups allow you to post questions if you need help with something. You’ll have a large group of like-minded, experienced bloggers who will weigh in and advise you.
Not only that, you’ll learn from the questions others are posting, and the answers they receive. Everyone is in the same boat or has been at some point.
You’ll find lots of support and encouragement that can help you through daily blogging struggles.
*Bonus Tip*
It should be noted that while engaging in these groups can grow your blog, you should still keep in mind the importance of providing your audience with quality content.
Make sure the pins/posts you reciprocate for fellow members are offering high quality, accurate and relevant information for your followers.

Blogging Like We Mean It
This one has to go to the top of the list. I have learned SO much from this group! Carly Campbell of MommyOnPurpose.com is the group creator and if you haven’t heard of her yet on your blogging journey, believe me, you will.
And you want to! Seriously, get on this gal’s mailing list ASAP.
She, along with some other pretty notorious, heavy hitter pro bloggers hang out in this group and always offer amazing advice and insight.
There are no sharing threads but the wealth of knowledge and support this group provides are invaluable.
Clearly, I’m not alone in my opinion. As of December 2020, this group has nearly 15,000 members! Carly has a pretty loyal following and it shows.
If you haven’t heard of Carly’s Pinterest Course, Pinteresting Strategies yet, you NEED to check it out. It’s by far the best course/eBook/resource I have ever read. And still very relevant in 2023 as it gets updated as the algorithm changes.
Learn more HERE.
Side Note: If I’m being totally honest, my absolute favourite group to be a member of is Carly’s private Facebook group: Pinterest Mastermind with Carly Campbell.

Blogging Newbs
Run by Mckinzie Bean of momsmakecents.com, this group has helped me in huge ways.Ā
Much like Blogging Like We Mean It, this is a huge group FULL of both pro bloggers and beginners. How full? Think, over 27,000 members!!
Some very big names hang out in this group and are quick to offer up opinions to questions.
There aren’t any sharing threads here. This is truly a support group for inquiring minds. And the support is really impressive! Simply reading the questions posted by others and reading the responses is a fantastic way to learn something new.
Blogger Education Network
Tracie Fobes (TracieFobes.com) runs this helpful group. If you haven’t heard of Tracie yet you’ll learn quickly, that she’s truly an expert in the blogging world.
This group is a welcoming space for all bloggers! There are no sharing threads here. This is simply a safe and encouraging place to ask all your burning blogging questions.
Tracie is a blogging superstar who always has an insightful answer or suggestion for you.
Blogging Babes CollectiveĀ
If you are looking for a non-judgemental, and very supportive environment, you’ve found it!Ā
Sasha Lassey EveryDayShesSparkling.com has created and grown a really great community with this group. There are sharing threads every day and the members are very active and excited to participate.
Sasha is quick to offer suggestions to any questions posted and it’s obvious how much time and effort she puts into making the group a super helpful, resource filled space.
Blogging for New Bloggers
Is hosted by sisters, Lucrezia and Marina. Both have their own blogs, TinyLoveBug.com and BloggingForNewBloggers.com.
This group offers different threads every day and is very well managed. My favorite part about the threads is that they are posted really early in the morning. So I can participate early and not have to watch for threads to be posted during the day.
They also offer a sweet (and totally FREE) legal course for bloggers. You can check it out HERE.
Newbie & Expert Bloggers Unite
This group is described as “a blog community for bloggers of all levels to support”. I love this because it means there are bloggers from various levels of expertise, ready to answer questions and provide valuable insights.
Hosted by Lucy Reyes of cheerstoblogging.com, this group offers threads every day of the week. You can ask for help with sharing blog posts, liking Instagram or Facebook posts, Pinterest followers, and more.
The threads get great engagement and the group is growing quickly.Ā
Bloggers Supporting BloggersĀ
Jasmine from missmillmag.com is the brains behind this great community. With over 40,ooo members, the engagement level in this group is high.
Threads are provided daily to help grow your Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts.
You can ask for blog shares, social media follows, as well as question and answer days, ask a favor threads, and more.
Everyone in this group is eager and I can always rely on the other members to give my pins and posts a boost.
ASelfGuru – Biz Blog Community
If you’ve spent any time trying to grow your blog on Pinterest, you’ve likely heard of Amira from ASelfGuru.com. She’s very well known for her legal courses and bundles to ensure you’re blogging legally.
She hosts this very active Facebook Group that offers threads 7 days a week. Amira is very present in the group and makes it feel like a very supportive community of go-getters.
You can definitely trust Amira knows her stuff…she’s helped over 10,000 entrepreneurs comply with the laws and protect their online businesses!
Momfluencers Networking CommunityĀ
Brought to you by Jessi of TheCoffeeMom.net, this group might have the most threads on the list. The sharing threads are posted daily and some days there are multiple threads per day broken down into various niches.
For example, Wednesdays offer separate pin sharing threads for travel pins, crafting pins, food pins, blogging pins, etc. So you can really reach other bloggers within your specific niche.
There are also weekly live training sessions to help you grow and exclusive content just for members.
The Helpful Blog & Business Group
I’m most enthusiastic about this group. Because it’s mine!
I started the group to increase the support YOU need to grow your blog. It is a place for you to ask for the specific assistance you need any day of the week.
Blogging support groups are great. But sometimes I get frustrated if the daily threads don’t apply to my needs, that day.
That’s why in my group the daily threads will allow you toĀ simply ask for the help you need that day. Everyone’s request can be different.
Requests could include asking for new social media followers, repins, blog comments, click-throughs, etc.
Anything that would help your blog that particular day. Simply make a request for anything that would help your blog out. ThenĀ reciprocate the favors asked by others!
I’d love for you to join us in The Helpful Blog & Business Group š
How to Join a Facebook Group
These are private Facebook groups and you will have to send a request to join. Simply click on the blue Join Group button on the group page, as shown below.
Most groups will have you fill out a form with a few questions. The admins generally just want to know your blog URL and make sure you are aware of and agree to the group rules. Submit your answers and wait for the approval.
Once approved you’ll be able to engage with fellow members and participate in active discussions I guarantee you’ll learn from.
How to find more Facebook Groups to grow your blog
Of course, if you don’t love the groups I suggested you can always find lots more. When you are on any of these groups, simply look to the right-hand column.
There you’ll see suggested groups you can check out and ask to join.
Some will be broad topics for all niches. Others can get pretty specific. For example, you may find some specifically for growing your blog on Instagram.
Facebook Groups to Grow Your Blog – Final Tips
Whichever groups you choose,Ā I encourage you toĀ engageĀ with the other members. Help others out where you can. Learn from those with more experience.
Creating relationships with other members could lead to greatĀ collaborative opportunities.Ā Think of these other bloggers as your community.
Over time you may even discover you have something to offer others and these contacts have the potential to become paying customers and faithful allies.
Now go! Join these facebook groups to meet other bloggers and influencers to help boost followers and traffic!
